Step 1: Understanding Your Vision

Step 2: Design & Digital Prototyping

Once we understand your needs, our in-house design team gets to work. We accept design files in Adobe Illustrator, PDF, JPG, or PNG formats — or we can create a design from scratch based on your brief.

Using industry-standard design software, we create a digital mockup of your garment before production begins. You’ll see exactly how your logo, colors, and text will appear on the final product. Revisions are welcomed at this stage — it’s far easier to adjust a pixel than a printed panel.

Step 3: Fabric Selection & Testing

Not all sportswear is created equal. The fabric you choose determines how a garment performs under pressure — whether that means wicking sweat during a marathon, resisting abrasion on a rugby pitch, or providing compression during a gym session.

We source premium performance fabrics suited to each sport and climate. Before full production begins, we conduct dye tests on 1 kg of fabric and print tests on 1 metre of material. With the design approved and fabric selected, our skilled pattern makers create precise templates for each garment size. Accuracy here is non-negotiable — even a few millimetres off can affect fit, performance, and comfort.

Our cutting teams use both manual and computer-guided cutting systems to ensure consistency across every unit in an order, whether it’s 10 pieces or 10,000.

Step 5: Printing & Embellishment

This is where your design truly comes to life. Way Forward Sports offers multiple printing methods, including screen printing, digital printing, sublimation, and heat press — each suited to different design types, fabrics, and budgets.

Sublimation printing, for example, allows for vivid, all-over designs that won’t crack or fade over time — ideal for athletic wear that endures heavy washing. Our team recommends the best method for your design to ensure both visual impact and longevity.

Step 6: Stitching & Assembly

Our stitching teams are experienced in constructing high-performance sportswear that holds up under the physical demands of sport. Every seam is reinforced, every panel aligned, and every label — or private label, if you prefer — placed with care.

We operate a no-manufacturer’s-tag policy by default. Your gear carries your brand, not ours.
